Personal Statement
I want you to feel seen, heard, and understood when you walk into our first session. I believe therapy should be a place where you can bring your unfiltered self to process and navigate these challenges with someone who is supportive and on your team. I also know how powerful it is to take your voice back, rebuild your sense of worth, and find support when you have been carrying the weight of the situation by yourself. Together, we get to explore how to help you lean into your strengths while also processing and allowing your community to come alongside you to gain the connection so many of us need. As we work together in a space designed to spark creativity, I use an individualized, collaborative approach to support meaningful, lasting change and to help you practice being gentler with yourself along the way.
Who I Serve
Many of the clients I serve come to therapy carrying anxious or depressive symptoms, often paired with self-doubt, shame, or the painful belief that they “should be doing better.” Together we work to quiet negative self-talk, strengthen coping skills, and cultivate curiosity instead of condemnation so growth feels possible. I help clients move toward authenticity by teaching emotional regulation, exploring the unmet needs beneath symptoms, and honoring the client’s experience by promoting an open-minded, multicultural, and safe environment so they feel comfortable to be authentic in the therapeutic space.
In the midst of these life changes, it’s also common for deeper questions to arise. Transitions, whether school, emerging adulthood, or shifting roles, bring uncertainty, pressure, and identity exploration. I walk alongside clients navigating instability, “shoulds,” and the in-between spaces of growth. As these transitions unfold, questions of meaning and spiritual concerns can also surface, especially when values feel misaligned with beliefs or shame has been rooted in faith experiences. I support clients in clarifying what feels authentic while honoring their background.
Alongside these personal and spiritual struggles, many people also face challenges in their professional lives. Career stress and burnout are other areas I address, balancing practical strategies to combat the thought patterns that fuel exhaustion.
I hold space for parents and partners in the perinatal journey which can bring joy, excitement, grief or loss. I care for clients struggling with infertility, pregnancy complications, and infant loss, addressing the guilt, isolation, and unrealistic expectations that so often surround parenting.
My experience also includes clinical roles in intensive outpatient therapy settings. I use those skills to collaborate on recovery plans while also helping the client find a recovery program that will work for them such as 12-Step, SMART Recovery, Dharma, CR, etc.
Much of my work focuses on interpersonal struggles, such as boundaries, communication, and relational issues for individuals. I help clients understand how past experiences shape current patterns so they can build healthier, more confident ways of connecting. My approach is compassionate, honest, and client-centered, offering both tools and space to be fully seen.

Theoretical Approach
My theoretical approach begins with meeting people where they are in their journey. This includes listening closely and collaborating on attainable goals to support success in therapy. I always strive to create a conversational space that offers the care you’re seeking while also gently challenging you in ways that support growth. The techniques I use during therapy sessions are tailored to the individual and typically incorporate Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based therapies.
