Personal Statement
I am passionate about helping others feel seen, heard, and understood. As an intern therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore themselves openly. I approach each person with empathy, compassion, unconditional positive regard, respect, and a nonjudgmental stance. I believe that everyone has the power to heal within themselves, and with the right environment, they can grow, reach their potential, and flourish. My goal is to empower individuals on their unique healing journeys by guiding them through struggles, offering insights, and enhancing self-awareness to foster personal growth. It is truly an honor and privilege to work alongside others as they navigate their own paths.
Who I Serve
I work with teens, young adults, and families, and I am grateful for the opportunity to support a diverse range of individuals facing various challenges. I am particularly passionate about working with issues such as depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma recovery, grief and loss, life transitions, identity/self-esteem/body image, and substance use disorders. Additionally, I focus on helping families increase awareness, take accountability, and maintain a sense of autonomy while navigating changes. I believe these elements are essential for healing both individuals and the family unit as a whole.

Theoretical Approach
As each individual’s needs, desires, and goals are unique, my theoretical approach may vary. I believe there is no “one size fits all” and prioritize a person-centered approach, offering empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in all my work. It is important for me to honor each individual’s story, cultural identity, values, beliefs, and goals to empower them in overcoming obstacles and enhancing their well-being. I also incorporate therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and parts work. These approaches support clients in gaining self-awareness, developing coping skills, exploring different aspects of themselves, and fostering personal growth.
