Personal Statement

I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel free to let their true selves be seen. We all innately crave love, connection, and healthy relationships. We were not created to do life alone. I view each person as a holistic being, considering your mental, physical, relational, emotional, and spiritual health as we journey together towards healing, growth, and a meaningful life.

Who I Serve

I work with adults and teens. I am passionate about helping people grow, heal, and live a purposeful life. I believe that everyone has something to contribute to the world and a unique mark to leave. I consider it a privilege to partner with clients as they are navigating life. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. I enjoy helping clients break free from addiction, heal wounds, and discover their identity. Further, I understand the difficult dynamic that creatives, artists, athletes, actors/actresses, etc. experience as they are under pressure to share their talents and gifts with the world. It can be fulfilling and exciting to have a platform, but that brings its own challenges. I strive to come alongside you and help you maintain your holistic health, identity, & values while you thrive in a demanding lifestyle.

Theoretical Approach

My theoretical approach is eclectic. I believe in first listening to the client thoroughly before assuming what approach would work best. I strive to meet each client’s unique needs. Some research based techniques I use include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, existential therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), art therapy, etc. I believe expressive forms of treatment such as creative writing, music therapy, art therapy, etc. can be beneficial for some clients.
