In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, our therapist in Palatine, Elizabeth Haines, is a certified yoga instructor and uses her skills to teach the power of the breath, and of mindfulness/relaxation techniques to help calm the stressed body and mind. She also comes from an artistic background, which allows her to appreciate and respect the uniqueness and gifting of each individual. See the list below for a more expanded version of all of the treatment specialties provided at this location.

Words from Elizabeth: “Approaching therapy from a strengths-based perspective, I have a real passion for working with teen girls, women, men and couples. I value a strong therapeutic alliance and believe that a supportive and collaborative working relationship is key in helping clients improve their overall quality of life. I am committed to helping people find their inner strength, power and passion. As a 14-year yoga teacher, I believe in the power of the breath, and of mindfulness/relaxation techniques to help calm the stressed body and mind. Coming from an artistic background has allowed me to appreciate and respect the unique differences everyone brings to life.”
