Personal Statement

My therapeutic philosophy is that my clients are the experts in their lives. My role is to listen and learn from you so that together, we can organize and process thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I believe that Individuals are ecosystems, shaped by families, friends, experiences, and the cultural and societal values they were raised in. Our wellbeing is closely related to the way we understand and experience our role within this network. My aim as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment to navigate life’s challenges.

Who I Serve

I specialize in relational therapy and aim to support individuals and families to better understand and navigate the many complex relationships we hold throughout our lives. I particularly enjoy supporting folks to explore the ways in which our identities influence how we show up in the world and engage with others.

I have experience in both private practice and community mental health settings working with young people of all ages, parents and children, couples, and individual adults. I am also experienced working with individuals who have committed acts of interpersonal violence, including domestic violence and bullying.

I have practiced therapy both domestically and internationally, and am comfortable and experienced working with folks from diverse backgrounds. I look forward to learning from you to develop strategies, enhance awareness, and build healthier relationships as I accompany you on the therapy journey.
