This group is designed for teen girls ages 14-18 who want to build confidence, improve communication, and learn valuable skills for managing relationships, stress, and social media. Together, we’ll create a supportive and empowering space where everyone can grow, share, and practice new tools for a healthier mindset and stronger connections with others. Below are the goals we’ll focus on throughout the group.

Goal 1: Enhance Knowledge and Skills Related to Mental Health, Social Media, and Relationships

This goal focuses on helping teens understand how social media impacts their self-esteem and relationships, while also building confidence in navigating peer pressure both online and offline. It also includes developing skills for maintaining healthy and supportive friendships.

Goal 2: Build Healthy Coping Strategies for Stress and Challenges

Teens will learn and apply several coping strategies to manage stress and challenges in their lives. This goal also emphasizes the importance of self-care, encouraging teens to create personalized routines that focus on physical and emotional well-being.

Goal 3: Improve Communication and Assertiveness Skills

Teens will practice active listening and learn how to communicate their needs and set boundaries clearly and assertively. The focus will be on expressing themselves in a healthy, confident manner.

Goal 4: Promote Self-Esteem and Positive Self-Image

This goal aims to help teens recognize and embrace their strengths and positive qualities, building their self-esteem and confidence to face challenges with a positive outlook.

Goal 5: Strengthen Peer Relationships and Social Skills

Teens will develop skills for resolving conflicts in healthy ways and practice giving and receiving compliments, which will strengthen their peer relationships and foster positive social interactions.
