Personal Statement

I was originally trained as a behaviorist, so I have a keen eye for actions that unintentionally reinforce unwanted behaviors. I take a humanistic approach to counseling and believe in creating a collaborative relationship. I firmly believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change within themselves. Working together, we will figure out where you want to go and how to get you there.

Who I Serve

I serve a diverse range of individuals, including those grappling with ADHD, anger management issues, anxiety, depression, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My practice is founded on the belief that every person deserves access to compassionate, inclusive mental health care that honors their unique experiences and identities.

Theoretical Approach

Person-centered therapy forms the foundation of my approach. I believe in the importance of creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I use elements of cognitive behavioral therapy to complement my approach by identifying and challenging maladaptive thoughts and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress. This integrative approach allows me to tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs of each person.
