Personal Statement
As an art therapist, counselor, and artist, my work grows from the intersection of memory, embodiment, and identity. I view therapy as a relational and creative process where art, storytelling, and meaningful connection can help make sense of experiences that feel difficult to express in words. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic, attachment-based, and client-centered perspectives, while remaining attentive to how identity, culture, relationships, and experiences of belonging shape our lives. I am committed to providing culturally responsive, affirming, and ethically grounded care. Through art-making and narrative exploration, I help clients deepen self-understanding, reconnect with their strengths, and create new meaning from their experiences, fostering healing, growth, and lasting change.
Who I Serve
I work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family therapy. I am especially passionate about supporting clients navigating identity development, developmental trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of the people I work with feel disconnected from themselves or from others, often within complex family systems, and are seeking new ways to understand their experiences and build more fulfilling relationships.
I incorporate art therapy with clients of all ages, using creative expression as a pathway to insight, emotional processing, and healing. With children and adolescents, I also integrate play-based interventions to help young people understand and express emotions, strengthen communication, develop emotional regulation skills, and build a stronger sense of self.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine care into my work, collaborating with clients to explore patterns, relationships, and life experiences with compassion and without judgment. My goal is to create a welcoming space where vulnerability feels possible, identity is respected, and clients can develop a deeper connection to themselves and others while moving toward meaningful and lasting change.

Theoretical Approach
My approach integrates psychodynamic, attachment-based, and client-centered therapy and is informed by feminist, queer, and intersectional frameworks. I believe that many of our present struggles are shaped by earlier experiences, relationships, and patterns that often operate outside of our awareness. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore these patterns, better understand emotional responses, and develop new ways of relating to oneself and others. I use art therapy with children, adolescents, and adults as a way to access emotions, deepen insight, and support growth when experiences are difficult to put into words. With children and teens, I may also incorporate play-based interventions to support emotional expression, self-regulation, and healthy development. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and collaborative, creating space for greater self-awareness, healing, and meaningful change.
