Theoretical Approach
In my work as an intern at Cherry Hill Counseling, I draw from a blend of theoretical approaches to offer a well-rounded and personalized therapeutic experience. My foundation is rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote positive change and emotional well-being.
In addition, I integrate Person-Centered Therapy to ensure that each client feels heard and valued within a non-judgmental and empathetic environment. This approach emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship and supports clients in exploring their strengths and solutions.
I also incorporate elements of Mindfulness-Based Therapy, which helps clients develop greater self-awareness and manage stress through mindfulness practices. By combining these approaches, I aim to tailor my work to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a supportive space where clients can gain insights, develop coping strategies, and work towards their personal goals.
Overall, my theoretical approach is adaptable and client-centered, focusing on providing evidence-based interventions while respecting the individual’s personal values and experiences.
