I recognize the courage it takes to enter the doors of a counseling office. In my counseling work I honor this courage by striving to provide counseling that is centered on what would best serve clients and their current needs and situations. I do not take clients’ stories and circumstances lightly, as I feel humbled and grateful to be able to walk alongside clients and discuss the topics and issues that are often the most vulnerable and impactful to them personally.
Who I Serve
I believe that it is important that counseling not be limited to a particular population, and thus I enjoy working with a broad range of populations, spanning from children to adults. Over the course of my clinical work, I have developed a unique passion for working with children and providing counseling in a format that best caters to the way children often understand and conceptualize the people and events in the world around them.

I primarily approach my counseling work with clients from a client-centered perspective, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship between a counselor and client is a vital factor that contributes to the overall effectiveness of treatment for a client. Additionally, I strive to approach treatment from an integrative perspective. Because of my integrative philosophy, I utilize various treatment approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, existential, play therapy, and art therapy alongside the primary client-centered approach that I employ in counseling. Finally, I approach my counseling work from the perspective that individuals are unique and that their stories and perspectives are important and deserve to be heard. It is my honor to be the person to hold these stories.
