Cherry Hill Counseling was founded in 1976. We now have several locations in the northwest suburbs including Lake Zurich, Deer Park, Grayslake, Vernon Hills, McHenry, and Wheaton. In October 2016, Cherry Hill opened up a branch in the North Park neighborhood of Chicago. The Cherry Hill – Chicago office is within walking distance of two universities, North Park University  and Northeastern Illinois University . The office is several blocks from the Kimball stop on the Brown Line and is also located near stops for the 82  (Kimball-Homan) and  92 (Foster) buses. Free street parking is available on Foster Ave. and on neighboring side streets.

Therapists at our Chicago location see all ages across the board, from children to adults. Maria specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ population and is certified to treat anxiety. Emily works with those who struggle with trauma, anxiety, and depression. Juan can provide spanish-speaking counseling and has extensive experience working with substance use issues. Emily is a recent graduate from the Tulane School of Social Work, where she completed her MSW and had a concentration in Mental Health, Addiction, and Family Therapy. She has a background in Theater Arts and received her BA in Acting from Columbia College Chicago.
